As a member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club you are afforded a wonderful opportunity to roll up your sleeves and help to make a difference in the lives of young children right here in the Jacksonville area.  The resulting proceeds from our work on these projects support our community service outreach programs throughout the year.

Luncheon meetings are held at 12:30 p. m. each Monday at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 1201 Riverplace Blvd, Jacksonville, FL  32207.  Regular attendance by members at club meetings is expected.  However, there are numerous local Kiwanis clubs meeting weekly that offer the opportunity to make-up missed meetings...to maintain a perfect attendance record.  Addresses and meeting times can be found in the weekly club newsletter.  In addition to the weekly newsletter, each member receives a monthly district bulletin, and a monthly magazine from Kiwanis International.

The Kiwanis year is Oct. 1 thru Sept. 30.  The club's initial membership fee is $100.00.  This initial fee covers the cost of registration with International, local startup cost, and a club golf shirt.  The annual dues are $820.00.  This can be submitted either annually in October, or quarterly.  The quarterly amount is  $205.00.  These dues cover all your club related yearly expenses including your weekly lunch at the Crowne Plaza!
